We have compiled some care tips to promote the longevity of your Après Studio pieces. Although our products are of high quality, like anything, the better you treat your clothing, the longer it will last.
Avoid fabric softeners, the dryer and make the most of spot cleaning. There is no need to add any softeners when washing our products as it can damage the elastane, weaken the fibres of the fabric and reduce its breathability.
As with any delicate item, our pieces best retain their fit and shape through air drying. We recommend minimising use of the dryer as it can cause microscopic wear to your clothing eventuating in
holes. Dryers can also shrink your garments, deeming them unfit for wear.
A full wash is only recommended every 2-3 wears, so in between washes, spot cleaning is a viable option. If only a tiny spot is dirty, you can spot clean with a mild natural detergent such as a wool wash.
WASH by hand if you have time, otherwise by machine below 40 degrees celcius. Wash in a washbag to extend your ruched products
lifespan. Do not bleach.
DRY on the line whenever possible. Try to avoid the tumble dryer, but it is ok to use occasionally on low.
PRESS using an iron on low heat.
